Boss Treat Employees with Cheapest Food
Damon Buffini, Europe’s millionaire of the largest stock market firm, Permira, forcing his executives to eat the most inexpensive foods there: a burger.
He was annoyed because the executives complained about the food in a five-star hotel that has a restaurant that gets Michelin star.
Buffini said its executives did not know “how lucky they were” so as to keep complaining about the taste of food that is very expensive.
The incident occurred while Buffini bring its executives in an annual meeting at a luxury hotel, Pennyhill Park, Surrey, which has a very prestigious restaurant.
Hotel rates are above £ 1000 per night per room, he heard one executive complained about the food in that place.
He ordered the kitchen in the hotel to serve burgers for lunch and dinner the next night. When burgers are presented, Buffini scolded executives who he called did not know that how lucky they are.
Buffini was indeed a poor kid. He was raised by her mother in a modest home and his luck changed after working in the capital markets in London.
